The time has come to get the electrical service installed. I was able to borrow a compression tool today so decided to attack the connections needed to get the power line ready. The picture above shows the aluminum sleeves used to attach the aluminum feeders together. This is the aluminum undergbround wire I buried with the water line and stubbed up in the power box. I had a full roll of aluminum wire that was salvaged from the scrap heap and pushed the three conductors from the PVC conduit stubbed up through the concrete to the traffic signal box. The crimping went well and after applying another coat of white paint to the rain gutter I moved to the crawl space under the laundry room to make connections there as well.
