Look, no more bare wood roof. I finished laying the shingles about 5:30 and not a minute too soon. Every joint in my body ached from a full day of shingling. I started in a very damp and chilly morning with a full overcast sky. The wind did come up and dry things out a little but the clouds hung in there all day. And even though a little warm sun would have felt nice it was just as well that it didn't so that the shingles did not get soft and scuffed. I finished the day by dropping the John Deere tractor off next door and used his backhoe/end loader to do some final grading to the driveway.
