The first project tonight was to install more fascia on the east gable and along the south eave over the garage door. I needed the east gable to be complete so that the metal roof edge could be installed before the shingles. The other thought I had was to wait a bit for shade on the north roof slope. I installed the metal edge next and then started the shingles on the NE corner of the roof. I was able to install 2 square of shingles and get past my forklift/pallet landing area. The picture makes the shingled spot look pretty small, but it does extend up about 6 feet from the eave and over 40 feet long.
