It was another overcast day, but luckily the forecasters were correct when they said it wouldn't rain. When I looked at the footing I poured last night I could see that there were a few dimples in the surface of the concrete from the rain that fell after dark, but nothing that hurt the strength or the quality of the surface for footings. I removed the forms and cleaned them up then used the tiller to break up the sod chunks that I had thrown between the footings. I used the dirt for fill around the yard, and the biggest area was in front of the concrete pad under the LP tank. This was a 6 inch drop off that I had intended to fill as soon as I had a load of black dirt. We also fixed a rut in the ditch out front that appeared after the old shop was dragged from its foundation.
