Tonight I started the brick patio in front of the shed. I started by carefully calculating the size since I am adding more brick so that the patio extends to the south of the shed enough to match the step in front of the door. Then I used stainless steel screws to attach a 2 X 4 onto the front of the shed. Then is was a simple matter to attach the ends and then the front. I set the slope so there is about an inch of fall front to back and then started hauling the fill dirt to bring the ground up to height. I will use some fill sand to do the final leveling before the brick are laid in place.
