Believe it or not, the two forms you see above for the LP tank fondation represent two and one half hours of work. I had to escavate more of the area and then staked it out so that the concrete will be straight with the shop and of course the proper distance away. The ground level will be higher than the concrete so we are planning a retaining wall and then shape the ground so that the water will drain around the tank instead of across it.
All work and no play is a bit dull, so I walked out to the west side of the property to take a picture of the field corn that is growing in the field behind us. For those that visited here on Memorial Day you may remember that the corn had just popped up and was perhaps 3 to 4 inches tall. It is now over 7 feet high and makes the west lawn area seem like you are in a room or a fenced in area.
