Last night I mentioned cutting a couple slots in the top, the red arrow in the picture above points to one of them. It took me all evening to get this task accomplished but it worked out very well. The problem with this project is that the slots needed to be plowed into the top with extreme precision since the corsscut guide extends out into the top and if the slots are not alligned properly the cuide will not operate properly. In my last shop I plowed these out of the top and left them eider than the tablesaw slots, which as it turns out made it look horrible and hard to clean out. So this time I purchased an aluminum channel that fit the guide and plowed the slots to fit the channel. Other than drilling holes for a couple screws the channels are ready for installation. The next project is some wiring for the outlet strip to be installed on the west side.
