It would seem that there are only two major landmarks in Estherville, if you looked only at the postcards and the variety of times that they were depicted in different views. These landmarks would be the Gardston Hotel and the Public Library. We wanted this card because the view shows a very sparse looking park and makes us think it was taken very soon after construction. the trees are relatively small at this stage and the old courthouse is still visible in the background.
