Holy Family Hospital (1960's)

As mentioned in our other postcard of the Holy Family Hospital this facility has undergone extensive changes over the years and it went from a wood framed structure known as the Anderson Hospital to the Coleman Hospital and then to the Holy Family Hospital. We are calling this a 1960's era since the cars in front range from the early to late 1950's (one on the North side of the 1959 Chevy looks like a 1961 but can't be sure). This configuration of the hospital is the way the building looked as we grew up in Estherville. In fact it looked pretty much like this until about the late 1990's when they joined the Avera Health System and a clinic was added to the north and a substantial portion of the older part was demolished to make way for a modern one story facility.
