This postcard shows the City Hall sometime in the late 1940's to early 1950's based on the car and the street lights. Neither of us remember street lights of this style so suspect that this is more than likey in the 1940's. As mentioned in our other City Hall page, this is the building that we know as the City Hall. It is located on the corner of South 7th Street and 1st Avenue South. We don't know when it was built nor do we know when it was sold to the Junior College. This building was also home to the local volunteer fire department and the gathering spot for children waiting to see Santa Claus every Christmas.
