This generator will run on natural or LP gas. Since we are in the country we will be using our 1000-gallon LP tank to supply fuel to the engine. I had run a copper LP gas line in before starting the foundation work and the LP supplier had helped me make the connection to the tank with this separate line. Now I need to connect the copper line to black iron pipe. The picture below shows the completed layout. The red arrow points to the flexible rubber section provided by Generac to prevent the generator vibration from transmitting to the gas piping. There is also a shut-off valve in the event that I need to work on the unit.

The picture below shows the secondary LP gas regulator and the black pipe connected to it. I used a “T” to provide LP gas inside the garage where we will connect a forced air ceiling furnace to supplement the heat in the garage.
