Notes for Olive Jane ZIELSTRA

Olive Jane Dandy, 94, of Springdale died Thursday, Jan. 27, 2005, at her home.

She was born Dec. 27, 1910, in Ruthven, Iowa, to Jake and Dora Rouse Zielstra. She moved to Northwest Arkansas in 1959 from Iowa. She was a member of the Salem Lutheran Church of Springdale, where she was active in LWML, Ladies Aid and Alter Gild. She was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, George R. Dandy; two sons, Gary Dandy of Eureka Springs and Marvin Dandy of Springdale; four daughters, Cleo Breyfogle of Holstein, Iowa, Jan Sevadjian of Dallas, Diane Hines of Marietta, Ga., and Marlys Taylor of Lowell; one brother, Lester Zielstra of Ruthven, Iowa; one sister, Arlene McMillin of Ringsted, Iowa; 14 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 2 to 7 p.m. today at Sisco Funeral Chapel in Springdale with the family present from 4 to 6 p.m.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Salem Lutheran Church in Springdale with the Rev. Mark Q. L. Louderback officiating. Burial will be in Lutheran Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be grandsons Corey Taylor, Brian Dandy, Greg Sevadjian, Emile Sevadjian, Collin Breyfogle and Kevin Taylor. Memorials may be made to Salem Lutheran Church, 1800 W. Emma Ave., Springdale, 72762.
