Notes for Bernard Clifford WOOLLEY

My mother's parents names were Bernard Clifford Woolley and Charlotte Jane Clem. Both came from the vicinity of Paris IL. I know my grandfather was born in Oakland IL. He was a civil engineer and was City Engineer in Hammond IN at the time of his death in 1943. Their son William Douglas Woolley attended the University of Illinois, was also a civil engineer and curiously went back to Paris IL for most of his professional career where he worked for the Illinois highway department in the Paris district office. Somewhere along the line my grandmother picked up the nickname of Daisy and it stuck pretty hard; the Charlotte Jane was pretty much forgotten.
