Lucy Dady

Lucy MeLinda Christensen Dady, 71 of Alta, died Tuesday, September 11, 1964, at her home.

She was born September 28, 1912, at Alta to Christopher and Mary Frederickson Christensen. She attended school in Alta.

On July 30, 1930, she married Frank Clay Dady. She had lived the most of her life in Alta. She was employed by Green Thumb at the time of her death.

Survivors include her son and wife, Frederick and Joyce Dady of Pocatello, Idaho; a sister Sophie Christensen of Alta; eight grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, a brother, and a granddaughter and a great-grandson.

Services

Funeral services were held on Friday, September 14, at 2 PM from the Jones funeral Chapel in Alta with Rev. Clarence Beard officiating. Hymn selections "Beyond the Sunset" and "Abide With Me" were sung by Lawrence Turnquist accompanied at the organ by Julia Brundeen.

Attendants were Floyd Peterson, Frank Peterson, Milo Erickson, James Poulson and James Chase. Interment was in the Scandinavian Cemetery at Alta.
