Pneumonia Fatal to Marlene Hoffmeyer

November 18, 1943

Marlene Joyce Hoffmeyer died suddenly Thursday afternoon at Estherville Hospital. She had been ill ten days of pneumonia, but was making good progress when she died of a heart attack. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Hoffmeyer, who live near the Iowa line.

Funeral will be held Sunday at 2:30 at Huntington, IA, Methodist Church, with burial in Lake Fremont Cemetery Dunnell. She leave her parents, two brothers and sisters to mourn her death. Mr. and Mrs. Ed Hoffmeyer are the Grandparents. Marlene was 3 years old August 3, 1943.
