Notes for Samuel BEVINS

Contributor writes:

Samuel Bevins was born July 10, 1855 in Ohio according to Grace. This birth place is corroborated by the 1870 census. He was still living with immigrant William in 1880 and is shown with the occupation of farmer.

He is not shown in Annawan township in the 1900 or 1910 censuses. By 1920, however, he is back in Annawan township, living with brother Joseph Bevins. He is shown as single and a naturalized citizen so more information may be available.

He died September 17, 1935. Grace indicates he never married.
