Notes for Forrest Wesley BREYFOGLE, JR.

Thursday, September 5, 2002, my uncle, Forrest W. Breyfogle (Bud) passed away at a hospice facility in Austin, Texas at 11:00 a.m. Uncle Bud had a slow progressing cancer tumor for a few years and had moved from St. Louis approximately 5 years ago to Austin to be closer to his one son, Forrest. When diagnosed with cancer Uncle Bud made the decision to not seek treatment due to his age. He would have been 88 on September 2l, 2002. He had an infection and bronchitis, which are probably the real cause of death, but I don't know for sure.

Uncle Bud was cremated and his ashes will be scattered in Kansas City (although he was from St. Louis). Uncle Bud's wife's ashes were scattered there a number of years ago. There is a rose garden there affiliated with a Church they belonged to in St. Louis. The scattering of ashes will happen in either November or December.
