Notes for Seneca Breyfogel MILLER

Flora Grumman refers to this person as Raymond Seneca Miller. Lewis W. Breyfogle referred to him as Seneca Breyfogel Miller. Seneca is an obvious reference to his grandfather and he is referenced on all the census forms as Seneca B. Miller. The WWI Draft Registration card is logged as Seneca Breyfogel Miller and the birth month, year, and location fall right in line with family documents as well as the census forms. With this in mind we are changing the name to match the official records but want to record the original name referenced by previous family historians in the event that others would become confused about the change.

SOURCES: WWI Draft Registration Card, 1900, 1910, 1920, & 1930 Federal Census Reading, Berks, PA

Seneca is living at 345 Spring, Reading, PA and works as a clerk for the rail road and although the name of railroad is difficult to read further researh finds that during this time there was a company known as the Mt. Penn Gravity Railroad and it is assumed this was his employer. He listed himself as single with no draft restrictions. His height and build are medium with gray eyes and brown hair.
