Notes for Matilda Jane CLOUD

Lewis Breyfogle relates that Matilda Cloud was the daughter of "Colonel Cloud, who was a well-known military figure of that day."

Matilda J. Breyfogle is living at 641 East Long, Columbus, Ohio during 1889 and 1890. She is listed as a widow in the city directory and has her daughter Callie [Caroline] M. and son Fred S. Breyfogle living with her.

Matilda J. Breyfogle is living at 32 Lexington Avenue, Columbus, Ohio during 1890 and 1891. She is listed as a widow in the city directory and her daughter Callie [Caroline] is listed at the same address. The 1892 directory lists her as the widow of Charles.

Matilda J. Breyfogle, her daughter Callie M., and son Fred S. are living at 539 East Long during some period between 1887 and 1892. The database does not identify the time period beyond this range. This is the same street they lived on between 1887 and 1890. Matilda and Callie are listed at a different address in 1890-1891 so the best assumption is that this is their home address during 1891 and 1892.
