Notes for Robert Joseph CHRISTENSEN

My father never knew his father Leroy. His father and mother were never married and some say it was Sophie's parents concern that their age difference would be a problem. Sophie would not discuss this except to say that Leroy was no good.

Rites Held for Robert Christensen

Robert Joseph Christensen, 40, Alta passed away Tuesday morning, December 17.

He is survived by three daughters Mary Kay, Cindy and Linda all of Hawaian Gardens, California, his mother Sophie Christensen, two aunts Mrs. Lucy Dady of Alta and Mrs. Gladys Christensen of Seattle, Washington, also other relatives and friends.

Funeral service were held December 20 at 1:00 PM from the Jones Funeral Chapel with Rev. Clarence Beard officiating. Vocal selections "The Lord's Prayer" and "Good Night and Good Morning" were sung by Lawrence Turnquist accompanied at the organ by Mrs. Carl Turnquist. Attendants were Ted Zubradt, Frankie Peterson, Arthur Halverson, Milo Erickson, Floyd Peterson and Delfred Breyfogle. Interment was in the Scandinavian Cemetery of Alta.
