Homer Lorenco Breyfogle and wife Nellie V. were living in Overland Park, Johnson, Kansas where he was self employed as a farmer. His height was listed as medium with a stout build, blue eyes and black hair.

Homer, Nellie, and their infant twin sons are living in Mission Township, Johnson County, Kansas where they continue to farm. The sons are listed as 3/12 years old as of April 1920.

H. L. Breyfogle of Overland Park, KS was assaulted when he made an arrest at the Sidney Jones farm. It is assumed this is Homer L. Breyfogle as his age was listed as about 45 at the time of the injury. He was semi-conscious and listed in dangerous condition by his physician.

Mrs. Nell Breyfogle; 2 sons Vance and Stanley all of the home; 1 sister, Mrs. Mary Metcalfe. Olathe, Kas.; 3 brothers, Arthur Breyfogle, Boulder. Col.; John Breyfogle, Olathe, Kas.; Louis Breyfogle, Overland Park. Kas. Funeral notice later. Reported by the Hoze Funeral Home - Overland Park, Kas.

DEATH OF H. I. BREYFOGLE
Member of Old Johnson County Family Ill Three Months

Homer L. Breyfogle, 55 years old, a lifelong resident of Johnson County, Kansas, died today at his home, Shadewell, Eighty-third street and Breyfogle Avenue, Johnson County, following an illness of almost three months.

Mr. Breyfogle was a member of one of the oldest and best-known families in Johnson County. He was a son of Mr. and Mrs. Israel Breyfogle, who went to Johnson County from Delaware, O., in 1866 and built their home a mile south of Overland Park. Homer Breyfogle owned a farm and also was active in politics.

Mr. Breyfogle is survived by his wife, Mrs. Nell Breyfogle, and twin sons Stanley and Vance Breyfogle of the home; three brothers, Louis D. Breyfogle, Overland Park, Arthur Breyfogle, Boulder, Col., and John W. Breyfogle, sr., Olathe, Kas., and a sister, Mrs. Ralph Metcalfe, Olathe.

Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Friday at the Overland Park Presbyterian Church. Burial will be in Lenexa, Kas.
