Notes for Warren L. BREYFOGLE

Warren Lewis Breyfogle and his wife Ella E. were living at 3831 Troost Avenue, Kansas City, Mo. He was self employeed as an insurance agent (street address of business unreadable). He listed himself as medium height with a stout build, gray eyes, and black hair. There was an additional note that his right leg was 6 inches shorter than his left. He was 42 years old when he registed so his age alone should have excluded him from service.

EDITORS NOTE:

The 1930 Federal Census lists Warren and his wife Ella living in Los Angeles, CA. An interesting bit of information on this census form is that the family listed living beside Warren and Ella is as follows:

Name Born Father Born Mother Born
Breyfogle, Anthony Iowa Italy Italy
Breyfogle, Marjorie Iowa France France

Current research does not offer any clue if this couple can be attached to the Johann Petar Breyvogel line. Further research is needed.
