Notes for Oscar Hugh BREYFOGLE

Oscar H. and his wife Josie V Breyfogle are living and farming near Hebron, IN. Oscar and Josie have been married six years and they list 4 children, Ester S., Hugh H., Lawrence G., and Willis C. and they have two laborers living with them, William Dengins and Rudolph Jessia [may not be correct spelling]. It is assumed that they are working for Oscar on his family farm.

Green Houses Ruined

Oscar Breyfogle's large green houses on Halsted Street, near the Calumet River, ran out of coal during the big storm last week and all the contents of three or four large houses were ruined.
The loss will run into thousands of dollars. Mr. Breyfogle had the largest hothouse industry in this put of Cook County and it is a great pity that it was so completely put out of business.
