Notes for Mary Ann BREYFOGLE

In her obituary, Mary Ann was reported to have moved with her parents from Pennsylvania to Valparaiso, IN as a child. She was preceeded in death by her husband and spent most of her time with her daughters in her later life. She passed away while visiting her daughter Mabel Wetmur in North Carolina. The article said of her, "Mrs. Wininger was naturally unassuming in her disposition and though of a reitiring temperament was a loyal friend of every worthwhile enterprise. She was a dutiful daughter, an affectonate wife and loving mother. she was always religiously disposed. she publicly became a member of the Valparaiso M.E. Church in her young womanhood, and afterward a charter member of the Winthrop M.E. church at the time of its reorganization, and was a loyal active and helpful member of the church of her choice until she joined the church triumphant."
