Notes for Mary R. BREYFOGLE

Very little is known about Mary R. Breyfogle, the youngest of 6 children of Joshua D. and Mary B. Breyfogle. She lived with her mother through the horrible decades of the 1860's that resulted in the death of 4 of her siblings and the tragic death of her father. As a teenager these deaths would have had a profound effect on her and the years of meager existence surely had its toll on her. She lived with her mother through 1880 census and the 1900 census found Mary R. Breyfogle living alone on Park Avenue, Delaware, OH. She was 45 at the time and listed no employment. It is unknown if she continued living in her mother's home or why she passed away at the young age of 48. Cemetery records are not specific if she is buried in the same family plot as the rest of the family.
