Original database showed a death date of May 5, 1883, Oak Grove Cemetary records showed 1886.

Flora Grumman wrote:

"He [Reuben] accompanied his brother to Delaware, Ohio, in his youth, and from there went to Kansas, later returning to Deleware, where he died."

Reuben raised the three orphan sons of his brother Daniel when they returned following their parent's death on the trail to California.
