Notes for William Jessie PARIS

EDITORS NOTE:

The headstone for this person refers to him as Jesse W. Paris instead of William Jessie Paris as this record indicates. Family members believe his first name to be William, more research is needed to clarify this confusion.

The headstone is located in the Mineral Ridge Cemetery, Boone County, IA.

William Jessie Paris, age 24 and living in Pilot Mound, Boone, IA, registered for the WWI Draft under the name of Jess William Paris. He reported working for his father, L. M. Paris as a farmer and that he was single. He described himself as tall with medium build, brown eyes, and black hair.
