EDITORS NOTE: Family records record Sheldons birth year as 1904, the Social Security Death Index records 1903. This record corrected to match SSDI.

EDITORS NOTE: Seldon's son Sheldon Clayton Pride passed away on December 12, 2003 and his obituary reported that his fathers middle name was Fleetwood. The 1930 Federal Census recorded Sheldon's middle initial as "S". This record changed based on sons obituary and the fact that Sheldon had an Uncle Fleetwood Pride.
