Frank LeRoy Keeler
Oct. 16, 1937 - Jan. 20, 2000

Frank LeRoy Keeler, 62, of Groveland died of pneumonia Thursday at a Sonora hospital.

Mr. Keeler was born in Estherville, Iowa, and lived in Groveland for 35 years.

He was a Navy veteran and was a heavy equipment operator at Yosemite National Park for 30 years.

His family said he enjoyed playing horseshoes and cribbage,

Mr. Keeler is survived by his wife, Ruth Ellen Keeler of Groveland; two sons, David Lusch of Missouri and Steven Lusch of Big Oak Flat; a daughter, Stephanie McCleoud of Stockton; nine brothers and sisters, Viola Hoffmeyer, Bohumir Keeler, Carl Keeler, Eldon Keeler, Pauline Mann, Ruth Schroeder and Ethel Whitacre, all of Iowa, Mary Ross of Texas and Gert Weibel of South Lake Tahoe, and by 12 grandchildren.

Private family services have been held.

Heuton Memorial Chapel handled arrangements.
