EDITORS NOTE: In a handwritten family history sheet, Betty (Paris) Keeler wrote that Bohumir T. Keeler, Jr. was born in the Coleman Hospital, Estherville, IA. This hospital was later renamed to Holy Family Hospital, and then Avera Holy Family Hospital.

Bohumir T. "Butch" Keeler Jr. the son of Bohumir and Betty (Paris) Keeler was born November 13, 1942 in Estherville, Iowa. He passed away Wednesday, June 28, 2006 in Jackson, Minnesota at the age of 63.
Butch received his education in Estherville Schools, graduating from Estherville High School in 1960.
In 1963, Butch was united in marriage to Beverly Halsrud in Estherville. Butch was employed with John Morrell's until the business closed. On July 31, 1998 he was united in marriage to Shirley Olson in Deadwood, South Dakota. Butch was employed with AgCo in Jackson for 15 years. For entertainment, he enjoyed crossword puzzles, horses, turtle trapping, New York Yankee baseball and family and friends. In his earlier years he enjoyed playing baseball and played in the Amature Baseball League.
Left to cherish Butch's memory is his wife, Shirley Keeler of Estherville; daughter, Kim Keeler and her fiancé, Leigh of Maple Hill; son, Tim Keeler of Estherville; grandchildren, Alan and Matthew Studer; great granddaughters; Dystany and Paris Studer; great grandson Alex Hempel; father, Bohumir Keeler of Estherville; stepchildren, Curt Frank of Sherburn, Minnesota and his children, Dustin and Nicole; Steven Frank of Bossier City, Louisiana and his children, Amber and Joshua; Lana Jurs and her husband, Dale of Sherburn and their children, David and Krysta Jurs and Megan and Katie Green; sisters, Sandy Breyfogle and her husband, Dan of Mason City, Iowa; and Lori Keeler of Estherville.
He has been preceded in death by his mother; an infant daughter; maternal grandparents, Cloyd and Olive Paris; and paternal grandparents, Thomas and Nettie Keeler.
